What tasks can you expect as a CSA Engineer (m/f/d) - Data Center?
- Support the Construction Manager in the planning, coordination and execution of all Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works, ensuring activities are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards
- Monitor construction readiness by tracking drawings, technical submittals, materials, permits, access requirements and subcontractor resources, proactively identifying and resolving constraints before they impact the programme
- Coordinate closely with Design, BIM, QA/QC, Procurement, Logistics and MEP teams to ensure smooth execution of works and effective management of critical CSA-to-MEP interfaces
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress and productivity, review construction quality and support inspections, snagging, NCR management and progressive handovers from CSA to MEP teams
- Review drawings and technical documentation, manage RFIs and technical queries, maintain accurate progress records and support the preparation of as-built documentation and final project handover packages.
Requirements
What qualifications do you bring as a CSA Engineer (m/f/d) - Data Center?
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related technical discipline, combined with 3-6+ years of experience in site engineering or construction delivery on complex building projects
- Solid understanding of CSA construction methods, sequencing and site coordination, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, BIM models and construction requirements
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary interfaces, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with quality, schedule and project objectives.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality processes, including RFIs, technical submittals, ITPs, NCRs, inspections and handover procedures, supported by excellent organisational and documentation skills
- Fluent English communication skills; experience in Data Center, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, healthcare, industrial or similarly complex projects is highly desirable. Knowledge of Swiss construction standards (SIA/VKF), BIM/Navisworks, Primavera P6 and digital QA/QC tools is an advantage
