To strengthen our rapidly growing Data Center team, we are looking for a Health & Safety Supervisor (m/f/d) who is passionate about creating and maintaining a world-class safety culture on complex, high-profile mission-critical projects.
In this challenging role, you will be responsible for supporting and monitoring all health, safety and environmental activities on site, ensuring compliance with Swiss regulations, client requirements and Implenia's high HSE standards. You will work closely with project management, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure that safety remains our highest priority throughout every phase of construction. The role reflects key responsibilities commonly found in leading international data center projects, including site inspections, contractor management, risk assessments, training, incident investigations and emergency preparedness.
Your contractual workplace will be our "Connect" office in Opfikon, while your main place of work will be one of our Data Center construction projects in the Zurich region.
Responsibilites
What tasks can you expect as a Health & Safety Supervisor (m/f/d)?

Promote and actively drive a strong health, safety and environmental culture across the Data Center project, ensuring compliance with all site, client and regulatory requirements.

Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments, proactively identifying hazards and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor and support subcontractors in meeting HSE standards, including inductions, permits to work, toolbox talks, RAMS/WMS reviews and documentation management.

Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, perform root cause analyses and contribute to the implementation of effective improvement measures.Deliver HSE training and daily safety briefings, provide expert guidance to project stakeholders and support the continuous improvement of HSE processes and site documentation.
Requirements
What qualifications do you bring as a Health & Safety Supervisor (m/f/d)?

Must hold at least diploma level recognised qualification in Occupational Safety, Health and Welfare at Work, Construction safety management or recognised equivalent diploma

Several years of EHS experience on large-scale construction projects in pharmaceutical, industrial, infrastructure, or Data Center projects.

Strong knowledge of construction safety management, risk assessment methodologies, contractor management, and permit-to-work systems working at least at General Contractor level

Confident communicator with the ability to engage professionally with workforce teams, subcontractors, and management while fostering a strong safety culture

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage

Relevant EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, SUVA, ISO 45001, or equivalent) are highly desirable
